Pressing Reset: The Secret to a Better Week
My Sunday Reset Routine

You know that feeling when the week ends and your brain feels like 47 tabs are open and none of them are working? That’s when I know it’s time for a weekly reset—my way of pressing the refresh button on life. Think of it as self-care, intention-setting, and a little “life admin” all rolled into one.
Just like you prepare for a big meeting, with this Sunday reset we are preparing your week and we are setting you up for success.
Here’s how I like to reset (and maybe this will inspire your own ritual too):
✨ Step 1: Be Grateful
Whether you wake up on Sundays and go to mass like I do with my family or you choose to meditate and write in your gratitude journal- Sundays are for being grateful for what we have been given, for our blessings and also our necessities, because the more we give thanks, the more we receive.
✨ Step 2: Reflect + Release
Take 10 minutes to write about your week. What went well? What stressed you? What do you need to let go of before stepping into a new week? Release it on paper so it doesn’t live in your head.
✨ Step 3: Plan + Prioritize
This is my favorite step to organize my week- I can’t live without my calendar. So take a look at your calendar, plan your work priorities, your workouts, a girls night or date night- is there a meeting that can wait until the following week? Should you meal prep? Can you choose your outfits ahead of time? This small act will help make choices stress-free. Then choose your professional priorities or your to-do list and prioritize the tedious stuff for the beginning of the week so you get it done and over with, then try to end your week with easier, quicker tasks that will make you feel accomplished.
✨ Step 4: Self-Care Sundays
Make time to show yourself some love- I love to start my night-time routine earlier, take time doing your skincare, put a hair mask in, make some tea and get in bed earlier to get a good nights sleep. These little ways of relaxing and resetting will help you wake up on Monday morning ready to have a great week.
✨ Step 5: Set Your Intentions
Choose an affirmation for the week, I recommend this one “I release what no longer serves me and I step into a week filled with clarity and purpose.” Hold that thought close and try using it in your life all week long.
Resetting for the week and making it one of your weekly habits will completely change the way your week goes. You’re prepared and ready, which in turn brings success. Think of it as a little Sunday gift you give to yourself, because remember that consistency beats motivation everytime.
