A collective guide to living your best life, from one amiga to another

Let’s talk about something we all want—but often overcomplicate: winning at life.

It’s not about having it all figured out. It’s about learning how to show up every day with purpose, alignment, and resilience. Life will always be unpredictable—but how you prepare, organize, and believe in yourself makes all the difference.

Throwing it back to my JGO Agency days, I found myself juggling numerous roles and responsibilities, both professionally and personally. In my startup, I wore many hats: I was the CEO, steering the company towards growth and success; the business manager, overseeing daily operations and ensuring everything ran smoothly with my clients and brand partners; the attorney, navigating the complex legal landscape to protect my clients interests; and the CPA, managing the financial aspects to keep us on solid ground. Simultaneously, in my personal life, I embraced the roles of wife, mom, daughter, sister, and best friend, each requiring time, attention, and emotional investment.

The challenge of balancing these diverse roles was immense, and I quickly realized the necessity of developing a system that would help me manage my time and responsibilities effectively. Without such a system, the sheer volume of tasks and the pressure to have it all figured it out was sometimes too much to handle.

Ready to transform and embrace your true potential? These three transformative tips that have helped me, will empower you to elevate yourself from within.

1. Win Tomorrow, Tonight

Your morning starts the night before. When you’re organized, you make room for what really matters. One of my most powerful strategies for staying organized is to set yourself up for success the night before. Dedicate an hour in the evening to prep your to-do list for the next day, select your outfit, prepare snacks for work or errands, and plan or cook meals to avoid the temptation of fast food. Use the 2 minute rule to finish any tasks that will take less than 2 minutes so you can check them off your to-do list. This proactive approach ensures that your morning is smooth and stress-free. By reducing the number of decisions you need to make in the morning, you allow your mind and body to start the day with confidence and composure. This practice not only simplifies your morning routine but also trains your brain to embrace the decisions made in advance, eliminating the chaos of last-minute choices.

2. Trick Your Brain- Start Your Day Believing In Yourself

Winning at life starts with healing and growth. You’re not meant to stay the same. When people say “Who does she think she is now? She’s changed!” I LOVE it! If it’s one thing I am proud of, it’s the fact that I am constantly evolving, constantly changing and growing. Who wants to be the same person they were 10 or even 2 years ago? Allow yourself to evolve. Learn, unlearn, and grow. Speak life into yourself daily. Your belief system creates your results—so nurture it. Even on the tough days, trust that everything is aligning. I sent a great affirmations playlist to start your morning with in our WhatsApp group. DON’T start your morning worrying about what happened the day before, DO tell yourself today will be a great day, DON’T rush through your morning, DO set your positive intentions to have a good day. Winning at life means speaking positivity and happiness to yourself and into your life every day. Remember that the way you speak to yourself creates your identity, don’t let the lazy version of you run the show.

3. Set Your Non-Negotiable Habits

Success doesn’t show up overnight—it’s built through small, repeated habits. Whether it’s waking up earlier, journaling, or setting intentions, those tiny actions compound into massive transformation over time. Consistency keeps you ready so that opportunity doesn’t have to wait. This is something I have worked on so hard over the years and I am finally seeing the results. Starting my day with a grateful thought as soon as I open my eyes in the morning, filling my water bottle up before I leave the house so I make sure I’m hydrated throughout the day, whispering at the boys instead of yelling when I ask them to do something (this one is a work in progress lol) and many more. These tiny habits that I have built everyday over the years have progressed now into my way of life, no matter what distractions are thrown at me through out the day.

You don’t need to have it all together—you just need to begin. Start where you are. Use what you have. And keep moving forward. Remember: every little step you take today is shaping the life you’re building tomorrow. You’ve got this. Let’s win.
